SquadBear ships six optional modules - Time Tracking, Attendance, Kiosk, Team Health,
Company Documents and Processes. Hide any of them from a workspace that does not use it.

## How

Go to **Workspace settings → Workspace** and open the **Modules** tab - one switch per
module. Turning a module off asks for confirmation and names what stops. Leave, people and
teams, the inbox, agents and the workspace settings no module owns are not toggleable.

## Where a module's own settings live

Each module's own configuration sits in the **Workspace settings** group: **Attendance
policies**, **Kiosk devices**, **Projects**, **Time tracking** (editing window and time
categories) and **Issue trackers**. The exception is **Team health → Health settings**,
which stays in the module's own group with the models teams rate against.

## When a module is off

Turning a module off removes its pages from the sidebar and its cards from Home for
everyone. Nothing is deleted: its data and history stay exactly as they were, and turning
it back on restores them. Overdue reminder emails for that module pause while it is off and
resume when it comes back on.

An old link into a module that is off lands on an explanation page - "Time Tracking is
turned off". An admin gets a **Turn on Time Tracking** button on that page; everyone else
is told to ask an admin. **Kiosk devices** keeps rendering behind an inline notice instead,
so a paired tablet can still be revoked or purged while Kiosk is off.

A hidden module's tools drop out of a connected agent's tool list, and `whoami` reports how
many were hidden that way. The API refuses a call into a hidden module with 403
`module_disabled`, naming the module that is off and linking its guide.

A module toggle controls visibility in one workspace. No plan entitlement gates a module.

## Worked example

Northlake does not run team health checks. Marta turns off Team Health in the **Modules**
tab of **Workspace settings → Workspace** - it disappears from the sidebar for all 15
people. Three months later she turns it back on to trial with the Platform team; the
module returns with its history intact.
